  This is an excellent opportunity to give back and help those in need.

  To ensure there is a balance between workers and the work to be accomplished the Food Bank volunteer coordinator has requested volunteers for any event be capped at 20.

  Hope Mission Volunteer Opportunity

  

  The Society of Vintage Characters are continuing to work with Hope Mission at the downtown location.

  We will  run our next event in October and following the shift treat our volunteers to Tim Horton’s for coffee and conversation.

  Date and Time

  Tuesday October 27th – from 9:45 AM – 1:00 PM

  7 Volunteers

  Location and access:

  Hope Mission Downtown Location 9908 106 Ave NW

  There is 3-hour parking on 107^th Avenue

  between 99 Street and 101 Street

  Please review the following if you would like to participate.

  Since volunteers may be working in direct contact with vulnerable individuals, Hope Mission takes extra precautions to protect both the volunteers and those who are being served.

  You will be required to sign a waiver. Please access the form using the link below and be prepared to sign at the event.

  Hope Mission Dress Code:

  • Closed toed footwear – flip flops and sandals are not allowed.
  • No sleeveless or skin-baring apparel, including tank tops.
  • Legs must be covered to the knee including shorts.
  • No clothing with suggestive or offensive logos.

  You are required to wear the appropriate attire for your shift.
