Created in 2018, The Society of Vintage Characters continues to evolve and define its focus. The Board is currently identifying and evaluating a broad variety of activities designed to support a viable and active seniors’ community. Advocacy on behalf of seniors is a commitment of the society.

Volunteering Events

The Society of Vintage Characters participated in Casinos in 2019 and 2022.  Our Society donates at least $5,000 per year of AGLC earnings to registered charities.  To date, the two organizations that we have donated to are CKUA and the Edmonton Food Bank.  We also volunteer time to the Edmonton Food Bank, volunteering on average once every two to three months.  Please check the Volunteering page for upcoming volunteer events.
